Now Available: Petty Gods (Revised & Expanded Edition)

So, I'm not sure whether you know or not, but there's this little project that's been floating around for a while known as—

Huh?... Oh... you've heard of it?

What's that?... "Quit my jabbering and just give you the damn links already?"

I will, but I need to do something first. I need to thank all of the folks who contributed to this beast. This project could not have existed if not for the generous contributions from the hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of people who helped make this book possible.

Now, without further ado, I present Petty Gods: Revised & Expanded Edition!

  2. The back cover just looks so much like something from TSR circa 1982. Wunderbar!

  8. I think you deserve an honorary knighthood of the OSR, Sir Richard! The White Knight!

  10. Richard, I'd like to sincerely thank you for mentioning me in the credits and acknowledgements of this amazing piece of work. It means a lot to me. I was hoping I might get my name in there somewhere, but I wasn't expecting such kind words. Of course I'm not sure if I deserve such an attribution, but I'm proud to have been part of this thing. And I'm in awe of the work you've done to put this edition out.

Now I'm off to buy a hardback edition!

    1. Thanks Peter! I honestly don't know if this project could have survived without you. You helped make it tangible for people, and I have no doubt that helped breathe continued life into the project as the reins passed from James to Greg. I only gave you the credit that I thought that deserved. Thanks again!

  13. Just got my hardback copy and it is gobsmackingly beautiful. Anyone with any interest in old school D&D should have a copy. Richard, you should be incredibly proud of yourself, it's an amazing achievement. If this had been released back in the heyday of AD&D it would have sold truckloads.

I celebrated with an article on my site about the history of the project, hope I got all the facts right! http://www.orderofgamers.com/petty-gods/

  15. Hi there. It appears that Petty Gods is no longer available in pdf at drivethrurpg. At Lulu, it looks like you can only order a print copy. Any idea when this will be available as pdf again and where?
