Brian was in no way interested in doing anything with the original version (though he at had hopes for a 2nd edition). Also, he was VERY wary (read as "paranoid") about doing anything digital or sharing anything via email. Gave up on the hopes of anything OSAG related some time back as it would be nearly impossible to get Brian to agree with any sort of working process/procedure that included sharing things via email (IIRC).Richard LeBlanchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01828253174545830911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8752950690535469488.post-73778155078356759092017-06-19T13:45:42.609-05:002017-06-19T13:45:42.609-05:00Here's a lead: http://theminiaturespage.com/b...Here's a lead: http://theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=166223<br /><br />"Jeff,<br /><br />Brian Phillips is a long time friend of mine here in Dayton, Ohio and his "Offical Superhero Adventure Game" was one of several games he produce. Vaguely funny reference in a fanzine or apa post by someone giving his ultimate christmas present list. He said something like, "I want Christina Applegate..oh, whoops, wrong list." Then started listing rpgs he wanted, and said something like "The Official Superhero Adventure Game...naah, I'd have more chance of getting Christina Applegate."ravensronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05909197088012154294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8752950690535469488.post-76327386779471886962013-12-30T13:49:43.839-06:002013-12-30T13:49:43.839-06:00Interesting bit of gaming history. Maybe they should donate this game to Plagmada, so it's preserved as a specimen of the old days of the hobby...garrisonjameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09544523186717576771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8752950690535469488.post-40565549209832899292013-12-29T13:14:32.543-06:002013-12-29T13:14:32.543-06:00I thought I knew about most super RPGs (big fan), ...I thought I knew about most super RPGs (big fan), but this one takes the cake for "never-heard-of-it"-ness. (I love the character name "Fascist Gladiator".) I love these small locally-produced RPGs, and it sounds like this would be a fun one to bring out and run at a convention. Thank you for bringing it to our attention and thanks for participating in the Roundup!Tim Sniderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17390608104314125626noreply@blogger.com
